The local black language in our area is Tswana. Motsomi is the Tswana word for hunter. Therefore, Africa Motsomi means African hunter.
Africa Motsomi Hunting Adventures Background
Africa Motsomi Hunting Adventures is owned and operated by Professional Hunter and Outfitter Paul Brits. Paul comes out of a family of hunters and has practically grown up in the bush. He was on his first lion hunt with his father in Botswana at the age of six. Hunting and the outdoors has always been a passion for Paul and after a short career as a lawyer he exchanged the law office for the bush and has been hunting professionally since 2000. Paul is ably assisted by his wife Belinda, who handles the arrangements in the lodge and sees to clients catering needs.
Location and accommodation
Africa Motsomi Hunting Adventures have different concession areas from which we operate. This depends on the species of animals which we are hunting as well as other needs of guests such as sightseeing tours or shopping excursions. We have concessions in Limpopo, North West, Gauteng, Freestate and Kwazulu-Natal. A wide variety of species can be hunted in any given area. All the concessions are at the most three hours drive from a major International Airport where guests will be picked up
In all the concession areas, guests are accommodated in safari lodges, with all the comfort and luxuries of modern day living where guests will enjoy our true hospitality around an African campfire at night. The en-suite rooms are fully serviced with a daily laundry service. The true African atmosphere around the campfire compliments the magnificent sunsets and guests can relax with a sundowner in hand while reflecting on the experiences of the day. The lodges are in most cases situated right on the properties which we are hunting which means time is not wasted on travelling to and from hunting areas.
We also conduct safaris in Zimbabwe´s Matetsi Safari Area for dangerous game as well as some plains game species. The thatched hunting lodge with en-suite bungalows is situated about an hour´s drive from Victoria Falls International Airport which is where we pick up guests.
